Our Mission

Our mission focuses on enhancing the health and well-being of cats while addressing overpopulation through humane and accessible spaying and neutering services. We are dedicated to promoting awareness of responsible pet ownership, providing community education, and partnering with local organisations to ensure a sustainable future for cats and their human companions.

The purpose of “Cats And Rescues” is to operate exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(C)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our mission is to improve the welfare of feral cats in the San Francisco Bay and surrounding areas in California.

Our activities :

1

Providing essential food and shelter to sustain feral cats, particularly during harsh weather conditions.

2

Implementing a Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program to control the feral cat population humanely.

3

Providing temporary shelter, nutrition, and medical care, including vaccinations, flea treatments, and other necessary veterinary services.

4

Offering adoption services to rehabilitate cats into caring, permanent homes whenever feasible.

5

Educating the community about humanely treating feral cats and the importance of spaying and neutering to control the cat population effectively.

All activities are conducted to advance our charitable goals, focusing on decreasing the homeless cat population and fostering a more compassionate environment.
