Pumpkin: The Neighborhood’s Butterfly

Pumpkin, the charming butterfly of our neighborhood, has graced us with her presence for over seven years. Once left behind by her previous owner, she was spotted injured and frail, her body burdened with fleas. With the generous help of a kind neighbor, Terry, Pumpkin received much-needed veterinary care.

Terry welcomed Pumpkin into her home for three months, providing a safe haven. However, Pumpkin’s adventurous spirit thrived in the open, as she preferred to roam the neighborhood, spreading her charm and receiving affection from everyone she encountered.

Since then, Pumpkin has been lovingly cared for. We ensure her health with regular veterinary visits for rabies shots and flea treatments. Our neighborhood is equipped with automatic food dispensers, outdoor cat homes, and shelters in our cat playgrounds to support her and her feline friends. At night, Pumpkin and the other cats find refuge in our garage, transformed into a cat sanctuary, offering protection from rough weather.

Pumpkin’s story is a testament to the power of community care, showing how collective efforts can create a nurturing environment for our beloved neighborhood cats.
